<official-title display="yes">To amend the Overtime Pay for Protective Services Act of 2016 to extend the Secret Service overtime pay exception through 2020, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H266B94E4B9EE48799F50D7080D3B80C9" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Secret Service Overtime Pay Extension Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H2E135855B64D4160A2C5E5F96BE666A9"><enum>2.</enum><header>Extension of overtime pay exception through 2020 for protective services</header> <subsection id="HBA28ECBF53DF423CAB3B9E2368892B2E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 2 of the Overtime Pay for Protective Services Act of 2016 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/5547">5 U.S.C. 5547</external-xref> note), as amended by <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/115/160">Public Law 115–160</external-xref>, is further amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC385F45D97144363ABE6027AECC9C2EC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the section heading, by striking <quote><header-in-text level="section" style="OLC">2018</header-in-text></quote> and inserting <quote><header-in-text level="section" style="OLC">2020</header-in-text></quote>;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H2722B0743146469EA63978D0E8CDD0D2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by striking <quote>or 2018</quote> and inserting <quote>2018, 2019, or 2020</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H8F027A39E83D4470A48EA3D4B7CDD37A"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (b)(1), by striking <quote>and 2018</quote> and inserting <quote>2018, 2019, and 2020</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H4CF84549762E49B1AE4584AD0C3D0DCF"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Report on extensions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than January 30 of each of calendar years 2020 and 2021, the Director of the Secret Service shall submit to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives, and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate a report on the effects of the amendments made by subsection (a). The report shall include, with respect to the previous calendar year, the information described under paragraphs (1) through (7) of section 2(c) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/115/160">Public Law 115–160</external-xref>.</text> </subsection></section>
