		<section id="HF1803BA83E2D4A02A4A71127575C7F94" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Determination on designation of the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism</header>
			<subsection id="H2C30FBE6A7D2412BA006FFA5AFC26ABC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Determination</header>
 <paragraph id="H55D6C7DD18AE4CCA92363D60CAAFF37D"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a determination whether the Russian Federation meets the criteria for designation as a state sponsor of terrorism.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H4C53E8FCE639404EAB1D8E1CD86C9340"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Form</header><text>The determination required by paragraph (1) shall be submitted in unclassified form but may include a classified annex, if appropriate.</text>
 </paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H5C9EB8E23CA94B33BA9FE8EBBFF13840"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In this section:</text> <paragraph id="H04C9D878FA31478C99891F8202F2955C"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Appropriate congressional committees</header><text>The term <term>appropriate congressional committees</term> means the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HA564641E22FE44289B728256AD9D278D"><enum>(2)</enum><header>State sponsor of terrorism defined</header><text>The term <term>state sponsor of terrorism</term> means a country the government of which the Secretary of State has determined, for purposes of section 6(j) of the Export Administration Act of 1979 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/50/4605">50 U.S.C. 4605(j)</external-xref>) (as in effect pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act), section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2371">22 U.S.C. 2371</external-xref>), section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2780">22 U.S.C. 2780</external-xref>), or any other provision of law, is a government that has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism.</text>
