			 from the mining and mineral leasing laws of the United States, and for
			 other purposes.</official-title></form>

 <section id="HF93E271344C744E5B315C5D9141F7B25" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Southern Arizona Public Lands Protection Act of 2018</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="HD3A9BE7DF71944739338A0650B4E6FD6"><enum>2.</enum><header>Withdrawal of Federal lands and interests located in Pima and Santa Cruz counties, Arizona</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subject to valid existing rights, after the date of enactment of this Act—</text>
 <paragraph id="HC9A4A3046A914A07869C6D5DA47E9FD3"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">all federally owned interests in National Forest lands in Santa Cruz County and Pima County, Arizona, are withdrawn from—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H264E9ABAF7ED4423B5EC6AAD0F461C3F"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">all forms of entry, appropriation, and disposal under the public land laws;</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HCA9BCED82F4C4537843A472166A271FF"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">location, entry, and patent under the mining laws; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H6786673287974DCB940A19F751BE4042"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">operation of the mineral leasing and geothermal leasing laws, and the mineral materials laws;</text> </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H0293C4C957FE486F9C4373A1A24C29C2"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">all federally owned subsurface interests under the administrative jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management in lands in Pima County, Arizona, with respect to which the surface interests are owned by such county, including in such lands located in Davidson Canyon, are withdrawn from—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H3C3CCF6B79F3499E9865CBF169C4048E"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">all forms of entry, appropriation and disposal under the public land laws;</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H9E8D9F26C6794003BAB6A625A42BE3D3"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">location, entry, and patent under the mining laws; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H03F4FB4B734B40FC8E3A70180C7E3E2F"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">operation of the mineral leasing and geothermal leasing laws, and the mineral materials laws; and</text> </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HA0DDF6330BEC4B25899D8FE08563E1C4"><enum>(3)</enum><text>all federally owned interests in Bureau of Land Management lands in Pima County, Arizona, are withdrawn from entry, location, or patent under the general mining laws.</text>
