 <section id="H4EB6E6B879F04DC4BCE4793EE979BECC" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Better Care for Kids Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="id0EA722A8908A48F48BB55629D3195EA6" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Specialized training for infants and toddlers required</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 235(e) of the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1232">8 U.S.C. 1232(e)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id62EA6A18D9A3476D96E8578863340C82" style="OLC">
 <subsection id="idCC66EE6A299540219829EB2BBD0EC049"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Training</header><text>The Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Attorney General shall provide specialized training to all Federal personnel, and upon request, State and local personnel, who have substantive contact with unaccompanied alien children. Such personnel shall be trained to work with unaccompanied children, including identifying children who are victims of severe forms of trafficking in persons, and children for whom asylum or special immigrant relief may be appropriate, including children described in subsection (a)(2). Such training shall provide best practices that should be used when caring for infants and toddlers.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section></legis-body></bill>
