 <section id="HF5B66FA6522646C9B984164136EFAE94" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Eliminate the Commission to Nowhere Act of 2018</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H1130F775298F464F926F6E706C50583C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Termination of Denali Commission</header> <subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDE4AE3E01A7E44D684E542E1492F6680"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Termination</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Denali Commission is terminated.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H7BBCF0B3D491432AB0FBF75C47CA8590"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Transfers</header><text>The authority of any Federal department or agency to transfer funds to the Denali Commission shall cease to be effective.</text>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H21C5D6493A684FDBB1731329BECAC47B"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Repeals</header>
 <paragraph id="HBAC1BB58D8924622AEAC8068CF2BA652"><enum>(1)</enum><text>The Denali Commission Act of 1998 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3121">42 U.S.C. 3121</external-xref> note) is repealed.</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="HE81FBB6504704AB49AAFDBD1CC7EEBA2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Section 329(b) of division A of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/105/277">Public Law 105–277</external-xref> (112 Stat. 2681–470(b)) is repealed.</text>
 </paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HFF4ED111BFB3418F92E0D0469E3294FF"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Conclusion of business</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of Commerce shall take such actions as may be necessary and appropriate to conclude the outstanding affairs of the Denali Commission, including dispositions of personnel, assets, and obligations.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H155C3F6B6015422BA1B758CA7A83B0D1"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Limitation on statutory construction</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This section may not be construed to prevent the expenditure of any funds received before the effective date of this Act. Such funds shall be subject to the laws and regulations that would have applied to the funds if this section had not been enacted.</text>
 </subsection></section><section id="H68A39FB6915D4BDF8346DD1B557D1F6F"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act shall take effect on the first day of the first fiscal year beginning after the date of enactment of this Act.</text>
