			 entities that have contracts with such governments, from certain
			 judgements for acting within their capacity to comply with their official
			 duties and responsibilities, and other purposes.</official-title></form>

 <section id="H92B07A5035D8407AB038F3B9F2F38C72" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Keep Our Cities Safe Act of 2018</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H74CCB59255244CA79EA03F910E8821EA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Indemnification for government employees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 274 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1324">8 U.S.C. 1324</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0CBD6C016A6A495A83406541E9A1296F" style="OLC">
 <subsection id="H251E10B98C8E476CA29EBADEA0A415C7"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Exception</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">This section shall not apply to any officer or employee of the Federal Government, or of a State or local government, or to an officer or employee of an entity with which such a government has a contract, who is acting in accordance with the law of the State or locality in which the employee engaged in conduct which would otherwise violate this section.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
