 <section id="HD8D51235EEA74D78B22D550B8E05A3F6" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Grain Inspection Improvement Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H2F390F482F3449659F112967D37E9D29"><enum>2.</enum><header>Restoring certain exceptions to United States Grain Standards Act</header> <subsection id="H737C868753684629A94CC39148DE62BC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Grain handling facilities described in subsection (b) may, before September 30, 2020, restore a prior agreement with an official agency designated under the rule entitled <quote>Exceptions to Geographic Areas for Official Agencies Under the USGSA</quote> published by the Department of Agriculture in the Federal Register on April 18, 2003 (68 Fed. Reg. 19139), if—</text>
 <paragraph id="HF646F2A9BAAA49A0A4566C9E43BEC17C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>such grain handling facility and official agency agree to restore such prior agreement; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H48E7B442948F434DA4DBF6A288C00530"><enum>(2)</enum><text>such grain handling facility notifies the Secretary of Agriculture of—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H020B2CCC705B4130AB3EB0230966E92D"><enum>(A)</enum><text>the agreement described in paragraph (1); and</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H200A332E66E940E498FF8A4904DEC06A"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the effective date of such agreement.</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HBA84E35D20994F6D8C4BFC3CF99A2C3D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Eligible grain handling facilities</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (a) shall apply with respect to grain handling facilities that were—</text> <paragraph id="H0FBFABD8F3BC4F7EB0DD740710796BAC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>granted exceptions pursuant to the rule specified in subsection (a); and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HBA7213614FF7411799B0172B2644F465"><enum>(2)</enum><text>had such exceptions revoked on or after April 14, 2017.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
