 <section id="H3FBA589CCEF84F2D8C36D1629EF60BF0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>National Airmail Museum Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="HDFFDEF1FD2BE4EB9BEF69C5C852B9CB5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Findings</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Congress finds that—</text>
 <paragraph id="H56B5E360807642729B5102E62061EEEC"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in 1930, commercial airmail carriers began operations at Smith Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana;</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="HF34C5831A97844B78F4C825D451B9682"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the United States lacks a national museum dedicated to airmail; and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H496A066018C643329511AA4A50872ABA"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the airmail hangar at Smith Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana—</text> <subparagraph id="H8FEC6FDCFFF6428CB9C662D40454F974"><enum>(A)</enum><text>will educate the public on the role of airmail in aviation history; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H35AC52016C524ECAA2C4497BDEF04B98"><enum>(B)</enum><text>honor the role of the hangar in the history of the Nation’s airmail service.</text> </subparagraph></paragraph></section><section id="H46C41F6D6A064352A069FC42BF501846"><enum>3.</enum><header>Designation</header> <subsection id="H513B121EF2CB4649AF960E2FDA623C3B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The airmail museum located at the Smith Field in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is designated as the <quote>National Airmail Museum</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="HF2E52D164DD04AE39F4D773D943AAA1E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effect of designation</header><text>The national museum designated by this section is not a unit of the National Park System and the designation of the National Airmail Museum shall not require or permit Federal funds to be expended for any purpose related to that national memorial.</text>
