<section id="HD2732C7F65EC4B5EB8FA6389F088AA94" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>A Necessary and Targeted Impediment to Viruses Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>ANTI Viruses Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H26C0E6ED0D3A41E3BB51CA04666D08DC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requirements for provision of antivirus software to certain individuals affected by data breach</header> <subsection id="HC9E49816AABD487BBFBF61AF4CE96A7C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Requirement To Procure Antivirus Product</header> <paragraph id="H54E4A18B844D4438B0FA15AB9DCD6FFD"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Administrator for General Services shall procure an antivirus product suitable for Federal agencies to provide to individuals whose personally identifiable information may have been compromised.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H23A4406704994C3989B7460B0CE37318"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Deadline</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As soon as practicable after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall issue a solicitation for vendors to provide the antivirus product described in paragraph (1). Not later than 1 year after such date, the Administrator shall award the contract for the product.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H403835734F784548BC77E18071E945B8"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requirement To Provide One-Year License for Use of Antivirus Product</header><text>A Federal agency that experiences a compromise in its computer systems resulting in the loss of personally identifiable information shall provide to any individual directly affected a one-year license of the antivirus product procured under subsection (a).</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HBAD967D9E7CF46449CB3155BF0531F83"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Federal agency</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <quote>Federal agency</quote> has the meaning provided the term <quote>Executive agency</quote> in section 105 of title 5, United States Code, and also includes the United States Postal Service and the Postal Regulatory Commission.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H52B3F4D8F81B444792977ED0A8B804FC"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Source of funds</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The funds used by a Federal agency to carry out this Act shall be derived from amounts made available to the agency for operating expenses.</text></subsection></section>
