 <section id="HAC04FB0682494D78B3B72EDAB45A2312" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Macadamia Tree Health Initiative Act of 2017</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H496CA01817EC45CC81CFE4F32AD0E46B" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Macadamia tree health initiative</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1672(d) of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/5925">7 U.S.C. 5925(d)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC4FB425DDA3A4231B62B32AA86B211EE" style="OLC">
 <paragraph id="HF62B7F358FDF472F85E7F827B3618281"><enum>(11)</enum><header>Macadamia tree health initiative</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Research and extension grants may be made under this section for the purposes of—</text> <subparagraph id="H08D61577358A416783AA084A56E771A0"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">developing and disseminating science-based tools and treatments to combat the macadamia felted coccid (Eriococcus ironsidei); and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H49AA30C478834BBEA1E0EF1307B925D5"><enum>(B)</enum><text>establishing an areawide integrated pest management program in areas affected by, or areas at risk of being affected by, the macadamia felted coccid (Eriococcus ironsidei).</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section></legis-body></bill>
