			 a Department of Defense educational assistance program or authority to use
			 such tuition assistance for licensing and certification programs offered
			 by entities other than an institution of higher education.</official-title></form>

 <section id="H5A3BA1079E354DE39D020AE02E1289BF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Credentialing, Educating, and Relevant Training Initiative For Your Heroes Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>CERTIFY Heroes Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H5A73D14F1A2340318281E7ECEF0DE363"><enum>2.</enum><header>Clarification regarding use of Department of Defense tuition assistance for licensing and certification programs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2006a(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended in the matter preceding paragraph (1)—</text>
 <paragraph id="HF457B86382D640D7AA96CDE134A766D5"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>Effective as of August 1, 2014, an</quote> and inserting <quote>An</quote>; and</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H1B2A46DCAB1D484B942A3048DA22CF09"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>as follows</quote> and inserting <quote>that satisfies one or more of the following requirements</quote>.</text>
