 <section id="H849D720D219C4FB49226F6BCDB834616" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Golden Parachutes for Public Service Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H1EEBC3EC7BB24CD9BDC914193DC9488F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition against lobbying of Congress by former Members</header> <subsection id="H6D88BFDCA7CF44D5A248CE45B58C3733"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Senators</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 207(e)(1)(A) of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>within 2 years</quote>.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H45AE8810730042FAAF6F085D6B11EFCB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Members and Officers of the House of Representatives</header><text>Section 207(e)(1)(B)(i) of such title is amended by striking <quote>within 1 year</quote>.</text> </subsection></section><section id="H0FE42A7DC8C745A4A5D4D05A83E13C67"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date<editorial></editorial></header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall apply with respect to individuals who leave office on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
