			 Homeland Security, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body id="H7CD9CDDBCA0E46648C5E8BD1DA45A4B9" style="OLC">
 <section id="H2CA640222AA449669C55D59EBB04FFBB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>DHS Accountability Enhancement Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="HB87AC31CFF10432296D53D62C931CF86"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal</header> <subsection id="HDCC6607D6FE04396AF02687CE8306B15"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 872 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/452">6 U.S.C. 452</external-xref>) is repealed and the item relating to such section in the table of contents in section 1(b) of such Act is struck.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H0FEF4A8DE69045E8B27843235E5F3DD6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Technical and conforming amendments</header><text>The Homeland Security Act of 2002 is amended—</text> <paragraph id="H0E9AC0B9C22544B69F2519C5E6F69C31"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 506 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/316">6 U.S.C. 316</external-xref>)—</text>
 <subparagraph id="HBFA07F49C2044EE7A2659107A78D3FB7"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking subsection (b); and</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H8201E3ED25F249EF9E258AAE03819701"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating subsections (c) and (d) as subsections (b) and (c), respectively;</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HB357947762AB455E9EEC0FBA10764040"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 702(b) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/342">6 U.S.C. 342(b)</external-xref>), by amending paragraph (4) to read as follows:</text> <quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H080E97F270D1469CA2F63C2C536FAFFE" style="OLC"> <paragraph id="H12ABABFF8F304293BB37168DE7A7CFEF"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Reorganization</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary may allocate or reallocate the functions of the Office, or discontinue the Office.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H392686BC66714707A7E3F9762C568D2E"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in paragraph (3) of section 2006(b) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/6/607">6 U.S.C. 607(b)</external-xref>), by striking <quote>sections 506(c)(2)</quote> and inserting <quote>sections 506(b)(2)</quote>.</text> </paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
