 <section id="H66586A11FE324099B86C2249180AE05D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>TANF Accountability and Integrity Improvement Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H731F3A4EC3304044BE2100C4052C647F"><enum>2.</enum><header>No counting of third-party spending to meet State spending requirement</header> <subsection id="H67405ACF0B7140BCA3082D4051883899"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Exclusion of third-Party contributions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 409(a)(7)(B)(i) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/609">42 U.S.C. 609(a)(7)(B)(i)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H23F33603251F4706A0711D191DA16F2F" style="OLC">
 <subclause id="H2EA0E4FF518B4CD39A2864B5E82F72DA"><enum>(VI)</enum><header>Exclusion of third-party contributions</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Such term shall not include—</text> <item id="H971F0412060A4BAAA24DC45DB3379361"><enum>(aa)</enum><text>for fiscal year 2018, the amount (if any) by which—</text>
 <subitem id="H05BE6AC78E8D47058762CC11C8CF7A1E"><enum>(AA)</enum><text>the value of all goods and services provided by a source other than the State or a local government during the fiscal year; exceeds</text>
 </subitem><subitem id="HE9C5B653A1124832B33FBDA1847C9C5A"><enum>(BB)</enum><text>the value of all such goods and services claimed by the State as qualified State expenditures for fiscal year 2017;</text>
 </subitem></item><item id="HD9BB42F3C12546389434C8C1B02173FC"><enum>(bb)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">for fiscal year 2019, the amount (if any) by which—</text> <subitem id="H1863C3D030794FCCA3115FFF89642F75"><enum>(AA)</enum><text>the value referred to in subclause (aa)(AA); exceeds</text>
 </subitem><subitem id="H942DA0B43BA34E2EB575E463519FF98B"><enum>(BB)</enum><text>50 percent of the value referred to in subclause (aa)(BB); and</text> </subitem></item><item id="HA293018610104C0E83A8CA765BD58A17"><enum>(cc)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">for any fiscal year after 2019, the value referred to in subclause (aa)(AA).</text></item></subclause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subsection><subsection id="H4A50667F51A748BFA39477BF9FF208E1"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Exclusion of expenditures for the provision of medical services</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 409(a)(7)(B)(i) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/609">42 U.S.C. 609(a)(7)(B)(i)</external-xref>), as amended by subsection (a) of this section, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H38E9C86C6AA942D1B7FFA9A3D0D762AD" style="OLC">
 <subclause id="HA277666BAF6549E5A3EEF0577B053592"><enum>(VII)</enum><header>Exclusion of expenditures for the provision of medical services</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Such term shall not include any amount expended for the provision of medical services.</text></subclause><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection></section><section id="HA44AD5C3A7BE4D2EA35367786DE31C2E"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall take effect on October 1, 2017.</text>
