			 database of exemptions for motor vehicles from the Federal motor vehicle
			 safety standards, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>

 <section id="H1BC27FA7E3964DA69BFB5B82EE2767DC" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Increasing Information and Notification to Foster Openness Regarding Highly Automated Vehicle Matters to States Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>INFORM Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
 </section><section id="HD9C91E140B5F4CD3B71AFE2DF22FB366"><enum>2.</enum><header>Exemption database</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 30113 of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6FDF35878A244A8DA7C54E7F8121C0B3" style="USC"> <subsection id="H7851A0C1857D48BD9DBEA37C44929DFD"><enum>(i)</enum><header>Exemption Database</header> <paragraph display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HDB383D2D31AE43D0993915328D6E97BE"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Secretary shall establish a publically available and searchable electronic database of each motor vehicle for which an exemption from motor vehicle safety standards prescribed under this chapter or a bumper standard prescribed under chapter 325 has been granted.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H4A2DA24FFF844B9C96A85BDE6041DB3F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Vehicle Identification Number</header><text>The database established under paragraph (1) shall be searchable by Vehicle Identification Number and shall include no information identifying the vehicle owner.</text>
