		<official-title>To amend the Fair Housing Act to establish that certain conduct, in or around a dwelling, shall be
			 considered to be severe or pervasive for purposes of determining whether a
			 certain type of sexual harassment has occurred under that Act, and for
			 other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Combat Sexual Harassment in Housing Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
 </section><section id="idc952cc66be5343b5928d1f90a79a14e2"><enum>2.</enum><header>Sexual harassment in or around a dwelling</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Fair Housing Act is amended by inserting after section 807 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/3607">42 U.S.C. 3607</external-xref>) the following:</text> <quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id67A7653171C54806A809B19B554CD4EA" style="OLC"> <section id="id7E3296BAC5E0484F8AEF13273CD36071"><enum>807A.</enum><header>Sexual harassment in or around a dwelling</header> <subsection id="id5C7A7A01955F4DF88305019025D5E875"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Hostile environment sexual harassment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes of determining, under this title, whether unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature is sufficiently severe or pervasive to constitute a discriminatory housing practice based on hostile environment sexual harassment, any incident of conduct described in subsection (b) that occurs in or around a dwelling, shall be considered to be severe or pervasive.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="id7A39C38928D84919B72C06918009F92A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conduct</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The conduct described in subsection (a) consists of—</text> <paragraph id="id4BF1DE4A4FE34039B2AB30A2E52D6FAF"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">unwelcome touching of a sexual nature or groping; or</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="idE59D93DFADA848F892B92E8F677C6290"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any other unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that is intended to be coercive, threatening, or intimidating.</text></paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
