Short title

This Act may be cited as the Electrochromic Glass Act of 2016.

Inclusion of electrochromic glass as energy property

(a)

In general

Clause (i) of section 48(a)(3)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by inserting (including use of electrochromic glass) after a structure. (b)

Effective date

The amendment made by this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after the date of the enactment of this Act.
