			 Interior restricts access to waters under the jurisdiction of the National
			 Park Service for recreational or commercial fishing.</official-title>

 <section id="id03640773260D462CBD0BAEEC562ED3ED" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Preserving Public Access to Public Waters Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="id5440A941E71E4CE5A7C68CA46360A3A9" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requirement of State approval of restriction of recreational or commercial fishing access to certain State or territorial waters under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service</header> <subsection id="id9F55CB76D80B4D4AB3801AF1DD699E8C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/54/1049">Chapter 1049</external-xref> of title 54, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id58B40E0711474531906E908292D3A77D" style="USC">
					<section id="id2C2B652E9D02457CA7A9FCDC2CC4BC38" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>104908.</enum><header>Requirement of State approval of restriction of recreational or commercial fishing access to
			 certain State or territorial waters under the jurisdiction of the Service</header>
 <subsection id="HB22F9F5A01744A5BA6E932887B966BCD"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Definition of marine waters</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>marine waters</term> includes coastal waters and estuaries.</text> </subsection><subsection id="idDDE84E2469FF434CBA6E80938A3F25D2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Approval required</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary shall not restrict recreational or commercial fishing access to any State or territorial marine waters or Great Lakes waters under the jurisdiction of the Service unless the restrictions are developed in coordination with, and approved by, the fish and wildlife management agency of the State or territory that has fisheries management authority over the marine waters.</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </subsection><subsection id="id8F5569911AD44B9DAD4F8123A0003EDC"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The analysis for <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/54/1049">chapter 1049</external-xref> of title 54, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/54/104907">section 104907</external-xref> the following:</text>
