			 boundary of the Cape Cod National Seashore, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>

 <section id="id54B3484871954A089FB3C4E1FDEDD9C4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Cape Cod National Seashore Land Exchange Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="idCA4792C137174230B15F14A319B9537B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
 <paragraph id="idA7689640627E488A9FADABB0E80D8D66"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Federal land</header><text>The term <quote>Federal land</quote> means the approximately 1.09 acres of land depicted as tract 22–4556 on the map entitled <quote>United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Northeast Region, Cape Cod National Seashore</quote> and dated October 20, 1963, sheet 202–22A.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="idF119A5BF2C984DD49DA59B5BE13E15D8"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Non-Federal land</header><text>The term <quote>non-Federal land</quote> means the approximately 1.02 acres of land depicted as tract 26–4653 on the map entitled <quote>United States, Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Northeast Region, Cape Cod National Seashore</quote> and dated October 27, 1964, Sheet 202–26.</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="id7C431E99BF124A51AFCDFAAFF5781519"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the National Park Service.</text> </paragraph></section><section id="id4609E177AE2549B69CD994C951A806C2"><enum>3.</enum><header>Land exchange involving cape cod national seashore</header> <subsection id="HD4C9F1C8B1E246B29F6FAA9544188B30"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization of exchange</header><text>If, in accordance with subsection (b), acceptable title to the non-Federal land is conveyed to the United States, the Secretary shall convey to the owner of the non-Federal land, subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H56928813ECD34953AED9428997CEA30B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Acceptable title</header><text>Title to the non-Federal land conveyed to the United States under subsection (a) shall be title that is acceptable to the Secretary, in conformance with title approval standards applicable to Federal land acquisitions.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="HF1D19F0EB3394745A8D31268B6F425AC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Applicable laws; terms and conditions</header><text>The exchange under this section shall be subject to—</text> <paragraph id="H5971401FE70548EA8F82636BBF493E69"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the laws (including regulations) and policies applicable to exchanges of land administered by the National Park Service, including the laws and policies relating to equalization of values and environmental compliance, other than appraisal requirements; and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H31F399E65BE54E6081572A0A8D9492AD"><enum>(2)</enum><text>such terms and conditions as the Secretary determines to be appropriate.</text> </paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HDE3BEB1342F4416D822BC777C380F0C5"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Appraisals</header><text>For the purpose of valuation of the non-Federal land and Federal land, the Secretary may use the appraisals conducted by Michael Sutton, Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, and dated July 14 and July 22, 2009.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="HE5B3F79E490C44BCB7E170BC701D740E"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Administration</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The non-Federal land acquired by the Secretary under this section shall be administered as part of the Cape Cod National Seashore.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="HD58A84E2DBDB4CD89996D2A7F9B90B46"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Maps</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The maps described in paragraphs (1) and (2) of section 2 shall be on file and available for inspection in the appropriate offices of the Department of the Interior.</text>
 </subsection><subsection id="H107C5F05A1C849688B88BD4CE36B2C63"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Definition of improved property</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 4(d) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/87/126">Public Law 87–126</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/459b-3">16 U.S.C. 459b–3(d)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following: <quote>The term <quote>improved property</quote> includes any dwelling structure (including the land on which the structure is located) that is conveyed by the Secretary under this section in exchange for conveyance to, or acquisition by, the Secretary of an improved property described in this section.</quote>.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
