			 programs and metrics that are effective in treating women veterans as part
			 of the evaluation of such programs by the Secretary, and for other
 purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" style="OLC"><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H44E67903EE53420F9205815FDFCAAB77" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H91F2622B21894AADA47BDBA7375337FA" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Specific consideration of women veterans in evaluation of Department of Veterans Affairs mental health care and suicide prevention programs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1709B(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HB9D597B7AF6C478C87E9B00C6A9D9518"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (A), by inserting before the semicolon the following: <quote>, including metrics applicable specifically to women</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9EFBFD7DE2EA4D6DBD745EF0561706D0"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (D), by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H438E5A5D2FD443D4B8C82D108B3AA1DD"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subparagraph (E), by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>; and</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC48E3010DF4449E3A262E75610F52F80"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H257014ADDD4745E2A13AF4F4A3380472" style="USC"><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0705721C27424D1E84C60352971F1925" indent="up1"><enum>(F)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">identify the mental health care and suicide prevention programs conducted by the Secretary that are most effective for women veterans and such programs with the highest satisfaction rates among women veterans.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section></legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date chamber="Senate" date="20160607">Passed the Senate June 7, 2016.</attestation-date><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Secretary</role></attestation-group></attestation><endorsement display="yes"></endorsement></bill>
