			 silence each Veterans Day.</official-title></form>

 <section id="H5F77677B554148AD9EA1FCB09D94C307" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Veterans Day Moment of Silence Act</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H345FB173FAC746CBB45D83D6A9F9FAE4"><enum>2.</enum><header>Observance of Veterans Day</header> <subsection id="H32A4435191514B898F7B0EB614806944"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Two minutes of silence</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/36/1">Chapter 1</external-xref> of title 36, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:</text>

 <section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF996574180E6430CA59DAE894E5D1585"><enum>145.</enum><header>Veterans Day</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The President shall issue each year a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe two minutes of silence on Veterans Day in honor of the service and sacrifice of veterans throughout the history of the Nation, beginning at—</text>
 <paragraph id="H63FAEE00926C4C0ABCB397EF4205F54A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>3:11 p.m. Atlantic standard time;</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H2EDC5DEF3116431EAF29845E13E0FAC3"><enum>(2)</enum><text>2:11 p.m. eastern standard time;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HEB09EE80E530435789F14011F7DE2A6D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>1:11 p.m. central standard time;</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="HAC9A9ACC4261483DA4D5BE7E38813BC3"><enum>(4)</enum><text>12:11 p.m. mountain standard time;</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HA0A1AA1C8A224D6AB6C4C9E5809EBED5"><enum>(5)</enum><text>11:11 a.m. Pacific standard time;</text> </paragraph><paragraph id="H4B902ACFAF134AAB8BBF70D1AF715222"><enum>(6)</enum><text>10:11 a.m. Alaska standard time; and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H5FF3E9AD8CAB4CE9952256970166EA25"><enum>(7)</enum><text>9:11 a.m. Hawaii-Aleutian standard time.</text></paragraph></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </subsection><subsection id="H91F51030DC964C2F97922CEF76E6CD92"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table of sections for <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/36/1">chapter 1</external-xref> of title 36, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new item:</text>
