 <section id="H74DBC2078C104E2BA2520E0F5F2085A0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Intermountain West Corridor Development Act of 2015</short-title></quote>.</text> </section><section id="H5257FD5F21A24D9DB2D61EA7B5054FCC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Findings</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Congress finds that—</text>
 <paragraph id="HCC115C2E5873411C909F97223ADF05C9"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Interstate Route 11 would significantly enhance for the Western United States—</text> <subparagraph id="HD9C7FFEBD7CF4B0AA5C49E645CDFABF2"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">commerce;</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HA469B7F0FAA74E7B9BA8E03D27C885AB"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">tourism;</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H6F346F0B44094FCCAE94CF2B3124ED79"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">international trade;</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H610E32C8929A4B2F9CB0108BC00FCE5D"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">economic vitality; and</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HFAD86C090D254BD9B5DF9AC2950931A5"><enum>(E)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">competitiveness on the global stage;</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HE643FB1B43CD488582F44AF1A49AAE16"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Interstate Route 11 would connect communities and economic systems in the States of Arizona and Nevada, including—</text>
 <subparagraph id="H4756EC28E5AF44C2BD3744613BD827FC"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the 2 largest cities in the United States without an Interstate connection;</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HBCB3F38D2D1D4D17BC072E3F1F6C56D3"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">major trade hubs;</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HB3BB9E5AC42C412BAD0BD8674C98596F"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">existing and future domestic and international deep-water ports; and</text> </subparagraph><subparagraph id="HD678AF546B2544A980FD323131A90DF2"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">transcontinental roadways and railroad corridors;</text>
 </subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H4D98974074DA4307B7879F7DEB618A59"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Interstate Route 11 would improve safety and travel time in north-south corridors of the Western United States; and</text>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="H77CE3AB897F84B3487F7F308AF0578D9"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the establishment of Interstate Route 11 from the State of Arizona-Mexico border through the State of Nevada and, ultimately integrating into existing high priority corridors of the National Highway System leading to the Canadian border, would enhance the economic vitality of the Western United States.</text>
 </paragraph></section><section id="H25DD0883271847F1BFA72DF9FD0DE357"><enum>3.</enum><header>Route designation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1105 of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 (105 Stat. 2031) is amended—</text>
 <paragraph id="HC0B5DB56871449749C9253F8ECA5AE57"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (c), by striking paragraph (68) (105 Stat. 2032; 119 Stat. 1213) and inserting the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7F1420D8E6D8415E81AA77695B1FCF9A" style="OLC">
 <paragraph id="H196D51BE289F4F97AA26F43D832BF956"><enum>(68)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Washoe County Corridor and the Intermountain West Corridor shall generally follow—</text> <subparagraph id="H3B5999768A514F5C8EBCE12ABDEE2900"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in the case of the Washoe County Corridor, along Interstate Route 580/United States Route 95/United States Route 95A, from Reno, Nevada, to Las Vegas, Nevada; and</text>
 </subparagraph><subparagraph id="H6BA8EBC209704284AE1C2CB41B48D168"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in the case of the Intermountain West Corridor, from the vicinity of Las Vegas extending north along United States Route 95, terminating at Interstate Route 80.</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
 </paragraph><paragraph id="HA4FC7A07EFFF4B1CA2BEB4C2CF3CF5A9"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (e)(5)—</text> <subparagraph id="HF0D7D8C3DEEC478BAC947BD452562E95"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A) (109 Stat. 597; 118 Stat. 293; 119 Stat. 1213), in the first sentence—</text>
 <clause id="HAD19769CCED84BF7BF3BEF80B0840CA9"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>subparagraphs (A) and (B)(i) of subsection (c)(26),</quote> after <quote>(c)(20),</quote>; and</text> </clause><clause id="H8C61DAD568F24537A633CC39AF8F1023"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>and subsection (c)(57)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsection (c)(57), and subsection (c)(68)(B)</quote>; and</text>
 </clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="H7C4AA1912CF9496E8E434ED2ACCBA282"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (C)(i) (109 Stat. 598; 126 Stat. 427), in the last sentence by inserting <quote>, and subsection (c)(68)(B), extending south from the vicinity of Wickenburg to Interstate Route 10 and continuing south toward the Tucson vicinity to the Nogales, Arizona region, establishing an international trade corridor by employing Interstates in existence on the date of enactment of the Intermountain West Corridor Development Act of 2015 or new alignments to be determined through appropriate studies, and extending north from the vicinity of Las Vegas along United States Route 95, following alignments to be determined by further study, terminating at Interstate Route 80,</quote> after <quote>subsection (c)(26)</quote>.</text>
