		<official-title>To provide for conditions on the renewal of  health insurance plans purchased through Exchanges.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
		  <quote><short-title>Heath Care Consumer Choices Preservation Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id1491CF607C2C4C3DAFE92E953344C94B"><enum>2.</enum><header>Conditions on renewal of health plans purchased through exchanges</header><subsection id="id56F3F5FE3E954C38A5D419094833BA4C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a qualified health plan purchased by an individual
			 through an American Health Benefit Exchange for plan year 2014 shall not
			 be automatically renewed
			 with respect to such individual for plan year 2015 unless—</text><paragraph id="id45ABC54A60884A9595FCFAECF40C644B"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the plan premium for plan year 2015 is the same as the plan premium for plan year 2014;
			 or</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id002B4FE78E51405EB823010ED55E47A8"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the individual requests such automatic renewal of the plan.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="id01E50BE52115471CB1AB555798AF2B1D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Determination of premium</header><text>A plan may be automatically renewed as described in subsection (a)(1) only if the cost of the
			 premium to  the individual would
			 be the same for  plan year 2015 as for plan year 2014, before and
			 after application of a premium assistance credit under section 36B of the
			 Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as applicable.</text>
