			 House and Harriston Hill, and for other purposes.</official-title>

			<enum>1.</enum>
			<header>Short title</header>
			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park Boundary Adjustment Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="id84E13F8247374BEFACD856460291EE67" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Findings</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Congress finds that—</text><paragraph id="id367bb1006c6749b8af945d3dcdf6bd2a"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park was authorized as a unit of the National Park System on
			 June 26, 1935, prior to which year, parts of  the Park had been acquired
			 and protected by Civil  War veterans and the War Department;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idc02cdc34304143a5801ca70245c63ea2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park protects Kennesaw Mountain and Kolb’s  Farm, which are
			 battle sites along the route of General Sherman’s 1864 campaign to take
			 Atlanta;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id6bf884ed7f894549a920d6fe43a7cac8"><enum>(3)</enum><text>most of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park protects Confederate positions and
			 strategy;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idB3AFF2C4F21F422FA2353D37F11D8170"><enum>(4)</enum><text>the Wallis House is one of the few original structures remaining from the Battle of Kennesaw
			 Mountain
			 associated with Union positions  and strategy; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idfc09a26f195d4e05b29c9c1173d4dde1"><enum>(5)</enum><text>the Wallis House is strategically located next to a Union signal station at Harriston Hill.</text></paragraph></section><section id="idEE8EC00FD81D45BB866B3AABB6E5CF98"><enum>3.</enum><header>Boundary adjustment; land acquisition; administration</header><subsection id="idE24706329CF44DFF8344C541AD71E363"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Boundary adjustment</header><paragraph id="id053591ED767142F7ABE210B90D749CC3"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The boundary of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is modified  to include the
			 approximately 8 acres identified as  <quote>Wallis House and Harriston Hill</quote> and generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, Proposed Boundary Adjustment</quote>, numbered 325/80,020, and dated February 2010.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idf122eb2655334b75a9a7912a403bc1a0"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Availability of map</header><text>The map referred to in paragraph (1) shall be on file and available for inspection in the
			 appropriate offices of the National Park Service.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id5F37D1A05E83449A8CC8818B66A7A905"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Land acquisition</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior may acquire, from willing owners only,  land or interests in land
			 described in subsection (a) by donation or exchange.</text></subsection><subsection id="idAD4346AE491441B594C0F974B1AFA205"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Administration</header><text>The Secretary of the Interior shall administer land and interests in land acquired under this
			 section as part of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in
			 accordance  with applicable law (including regulations).</text></subsection></section></legis-body>
