		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Actions under State law for damages from exposure to hazardous substances</header>
			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 309 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/9658">42 U.S.C. 9658</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="id204C5C6ED1FB46A0A628037ACFC58890"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in the subsection heading of subsection (a), by inserting <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">and Repose</header-in-text></quote> after <quote><header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">Statutes of Limitations</header-in-text></quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idC87513E618C14221AC1B1DECDFDAE8D5"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>or repose</quote> after <quote>limitations</quote> each of the other places it appears.</text>
