		  <quote><short-title>Moapa Band of Paiutes Land Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section changed="deleted" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id00774DDEB0EE4F458C4082A6767A80F2" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text><paragraph id="idDC3C2DE25A294D19933BA72B20125604"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The term <quote>map</quote> means the map entitled <quote>Moapa River Reservation Expansion</quote>, dated June 16, 2014, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices
			 of
			 the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idF40E900D70D44837909B5F2A39B1F0C8"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idF6B0C534F8834AB482603C6DF85F8DAD"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Tribe</header><text>The term <quote>Tribe</quote> means the Moapa Band of Paiutes.</text></paragraph></section><section changed="deleted" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id6B88763FEE814ADB8B377209F981B992" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>3.</enum><header>Transfer of land to be held in trust for the moapa band of paiutes</header><subsection id="id105670e0d804499593452fb552450267"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the
			  land described in subsection (b) shall be—</text><paragraph id="id688841fea7f24fc4b1d56f8443804d2b"><enum>(1)</enum><text>held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id993f541d4f054d17ab999a7599b831d8"><enum>(2)</enum><text>part of the reservation of the Tribe.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id8d9b06abcbb8444f8c707cfac2bd1651"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of Land</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) is the approximately 26,565 acres of land administered by
			 the Bureau of Land Management and the Bureau of Reclamation as generally
			 depicted on the map as <quote>Expansion Area</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="id1ab2147f4c8949e2adcb36f45ca8b83d"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Survey</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a
			 survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken
			 into trust under subsection (a).</text></subsection><subsection id="id0c2ccd215a664a62a4edf33dba2dddff"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Use of Trust Land</header><paragraph id="id5c98ad65ab0f44a588fd08b0a32b622e"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Gaming</header><text>Land taken into trust under subsection (a) shall not be eligible, or considered to have been taken
			 into trust, for class II gaming or class III gaming (as defined in section
			 4 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/2703">25 U.S.C. 2703</external-xref>)).</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id81965aee77044e64aea31c12043f2841"><enum>(2)</enum><header>General uses</header><subparagraph id="id7ceca0ba1bfc4d16ac3b7186f9f9b970"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The Tribe shall use the land taken into trust under subsection (a) only for—</text><clause id="id00d64fa863454513ac9e4c39abb0ba89"><enum>(i)</enum><text>traditional and customary uses;</text></clause><clause id="id49f80e19f3e540c5b3b326b44c43fb11"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>stewardship conservation for the benefit of the Tribe;</text></clause><clause id="ida8e5eb52ae624922bd7de0b1de9c9b76"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>residential or recreational development; or</text></clause><clause id="idcbcc859eb1314e7bbe2850c6889cb823"><enum>(iv)</enum><text>renewable energy development.</text></clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idaffc543b48084734aa3d74040824ede7"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Other uses</header><clause id="idDE5AC50D898B45049E9E4AF3B57DE65D"><enum>(i)</enum><header>In general</header><text>If the Tribe uses any portion of the land taken into trust under subsection (a) for a purpose other
			 than a purpose described in subparagraph (A), the Tribe shall pay to the
			 Secretary an amount that is equal to the fair market value of the portion
			 of the land, as determined by an appraisal in accordance with clause (ii).</text></clause><clause id="id51bec93c2f0f4cceb5dddb0653058e69"><enum>(ii)</enum><header>Appraisal</header><text>The Secretary shall determine the fair market value of the land under clause (i) based on an
			 appraisal that is performed in accordance with—</text><subclause id="id916e7a6d8d724f11bdd187ab6c9f3f22"><enum>(I)</enum><text>the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions;</text></subclause><subclause id="id2f4f77eb191c4d96a7117a197cd8edfc"><enum>(II)</enum><text>the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices; and</text></subclause><subclause id="id21e664df478c4663be9e1d697d34502b"><enum>(III)</enum><text>any other applicable law (including regulations).</text></subclause></clause></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><legis-body display-enacting-clause="no-display-enacting-clause"><section changed="added" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id600dac0a-0b7a-4be6-9423-d0809bfaca10" reported-display-style="italic" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
		  <quote><short-title>Moapa Band of Paiutes Land Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section changed="added" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id2b273b1f-0ba6-4fc3-b429-70e111098223" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text><paragraph id="id0009454b-8f8e-4364-b154-c76d97548671"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The term <quote>map</quote> means the map entitled <quote>Moapa River Reservation Expansion</quote>, dated July 25, 2014, and on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices
			 of
			 the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id2a059936-c134-40fe-8d38-64bd32a7961a"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id86a3256b-98ea-4f05-b6a3-09eb294fddb5"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Tribe</header><text>The term <quote>Tribe</quote> means the Moapa Band of Paiutes.</text></paragraph></section><section changed="added" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id1ed63337-dc60-4c73-84cf-1ec4bafe0853" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>3.</enum><header>Transfer of land to be held in trust for the Moapa Band of Paiutes</header><subsection id="id0425a115-5bdb-4bb3-aa52-03af1219870e"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the
			  land described in subsection (b) shall be—</text><paragraph id="id2bb774c4-fecd-4da9-b0a6-d08f4f560629"><enum>(1)</enum><text>held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id7685da69-b11f-4644-aa2c-597c07280883"><enum>(2)</enum><text>part of the reservation of the Tribe.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id7b5a5f9d-86fc-426f-94a6-f1c7b76355fe"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of Land</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) is the approximately 25,977 acres of land administered by
			 the Bureau of Land Management and the
			 Bureau of Reclamation as generally
			 depicted on the map as <quote>Reservation Expansion Land</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="id5f5c412b-8426-45ee-971a-1844141d36db"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Survey</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a
			 survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken
			 into trust under subsection (a).</text></subsection><subsection id="id9bef0f64f4f2448f857cdd0d37628f8c"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Use of trust land</header><text>Land taken into trust under subsection (a) shall not be eligible, or considered to have been taken
			 into trust, for class II gaming or class III gaming (as defined in section
			 4 of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/2703">25 U.S.C. 2703</external-xref>)).</text></subsection></section><section changed="added" committee-id="SLIA00" id="id43d82262afc8438382bec9e35a26fc50" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>4.</enum><header>Tribal fee land to be held in trust</header><subsection id="id37831e30149b4d1380b57fc375541c2a"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>All right, title, and interest of the Tribe in and
			 to the land described in subsection (b) shall be—</text><paragraph id="id1a8c6e7a599e4d6f9f29c97038155c7f"><enum>(1)</enum><text>held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id66e9b97ca5ee457baf2a2b4512f36ec1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>part of the reservation of the Tribe.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idb40deb6782664d19a61463a1e13a7b71"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of the land</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) is the approximately 88 acres of land held in fee by the
			 Tribe as generally depicted on the map as <quote>Fee Into Trust Lands</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="ide5f2309005514f35b4c9b49bfb07a13d"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Survey</header><text>Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a
			 survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken
