		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to exempt certain small businesses from the employer
			 health insurance mandate and to modify the definition of full-time
			 employee for purposes of such mandate.</official-title>

	<legis-body id="H008C29030EE946AC9ADA3EC60F95B2E3" style="OLC"><section id="id601B3FD969834D27938A0735AB6EF0BB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Small Business Fairness in Health Care Act</short-title></quote>.</text>

			<enum>2.</enum>
			<header>Restrictions on application of employer health insurance mandate</header>
			<subsection id="H07FDF5BB28FE4808A40213A1345B39A6">
				<enum>(a)</enum>
				<header>Exception for small business concerns</header>
				<text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/4980H">Section 4980H(c)(2)</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by adding at the end the
			 following new subparagraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0AEFF5ABA5BB44329ACA23ED9A7E31D0" style="OLC">
					<subparagraph id="H334793AE146B4EDAAAFADE9BDF3A55CA">
						<enum>(F)</enum>
						<header>Exception for small business concerns</header>
						<text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>applicable large employer</quote> shall not include any employer which is a small business concern (within the meaning of section 3
			 of the Small Business Act).</text>
					</subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>

				<enum>(b)</enum>
				<header>Definition of full-Time employee</header>
				<text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 4980H(c) of such Code is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HAE5ABB2BF5514373923F12DF78042DCC">
					<enum>(1)</enum>
					<text>in paragraph (2)(E), by striking <quote>by 120</quote> and inserting <quote>by 174</quote>, and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H7324C298E65A413FB01B6B04A7CEA8B6">
					<enum>(2)</enum>
					<text>in paragraph (4)(A), by striking <quote>30 hours</quote> and inserting <quote>40 hours</quote>.</text>

				<enum>(c)</enum>
				<header>Effective date</header>
				<text>The amendments made by this section shall apply to months beginning after December 31, 2013.</text>
