			 that contain phthalates, and for other purposes.</official-title></form>
	<legis-body><section id="idDDF1BB460E8B424E828C0FA5FC29EB25" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Expansion of prohibition on manufacture, distribution, and importation of children's products
			 containing phthalates</header><subsection id="id9727E7B5A619422199AB3AD0DB80CBB8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 108 of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/110/314">Public Law 110–314</external-xref>; 15 U.S.C.
			 2057c) is amended—</text><paragraph id="idB3CC4B0B6237463691437F6E71105F0D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)—</text><subparagraph id="idEA97BA471BE14575827B8525E946B8F5"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>children's toy or child care article</quote> and inserting <quote>children's product</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idF3DA2BFB3AA74EBF9F7C6F385697008B"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote>or benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)</quote> and inserting <quote>benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP), or
			 di-n-octyl phthalate (DnOP)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="idA3F7967CBE4D491994A68A603D3F7012"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (b)—</text><subparagraph id="idC23A480B4B2A421DA73FF0AD2DBC17D0"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (1);</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id4641A1BFF66846C7BDD673C30AFB0EED"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraphs (2) and (3) as paragraphs (1) and (2), respectively; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id140F385C4D6346E68F96435122E86ACD"><enum>(C)</enum><text>in paragraph (2), as redesignated by subparagraph (B), by striking <quote>a final rule</quote> and all that follows through <quote>evaluate the findings</quote> and inserting <quote>a final rule to evaluate the findings</quote>.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id4D6B66557AF34B669256BA66F7FB998B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header><text>Such section is further amended—</text><paragraph id="idAEA59C712E2747B1AAAA8588B1BF8080"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (c)—</text><subparagraph id="id9698FB088BE64A6B8BE7C91EE8033E4D"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>subsections (a) and (b)(1) and any rule promulgated under subsection (b)(3)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsection (a) and any rule promulgated under subsection (b)(2)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idC17906E5D4AD4B3D8A1EA351E35BA8D5"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote>children's toy or child care article</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>children's product</quote>;</text></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id071397A2E68642D3B75415CACE8F3A19"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (d)(1), by striking <quote>children's toy or child care article</quote> and inserting <quote>children's product</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id09650647E3C0463F891A64BBD72D9BBF"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (e), by striking <quote>subsection (a) or (b)(1) or any rule promulgated by the Commission under subsection (b)(3)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsection (a) or any rule promulgated by the Commission under subsection (b)(2)</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id10BCE55C117B42AA966A580CBC3E4F3E"><enum>(4)</enum><text>in subsection (f), by striking <quote>subsections (a) and (b)(1) and any rule promulgated under subsection (b)(3)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsection (a) and any rule promulgated under subsection (b)(2)</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id713FF4389B0C4943ABB52AB60DE2731A"><enum>(5)</enum><text>in subsection (g), by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idAB36600A18E4421B81BBE66E8B4F2CDC" style="OLC"><subparagraph id="idE719D3904AB74C439F0465C727774591"><enum>(E)</enum><text>The term <term>children's product</term> has the meaning given such term in section 3(a) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (15 U.S.C.
			 2052(a)).</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
