		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>SECURE Water Amendments Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="id57FEE9174A14466FA9755ABC1CF17500" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorized activities; eligibility; authorization of appropriations</header><subsection id="idEE0A89D4872A4D37AA60BB2BCB338C86"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header>
				<text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 9504  of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of
		2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/10364">42 U.S.C. 10364</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph id="idFF5E0E7BFD114F409EF0E47D2EF719D3"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a)—</text><subparagraph id="id0F9110E969D749729504FB1D0EEC3429"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (1)(H)—</text><clause id="id1621AB4BF16345418F737DC352D5D4A4"><enum>(i)</enum><text>in clause (i), by striking <quote>or</quote> at the end;</text></clause><clause id="id445A2D92DF4C479382182AB21D478077"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>in clause (ii), by striking the period and inserting <quote>; or</quote>; and</text></clause><clause id="id8F85E95EE71A4A9E98DD29FEA93B0EB5"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8B5FD1571972439B95DE140CB497DBCD" style="OLC"><clause id="id2D29E2A0F4E948CEB148B2846DF0503F"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>to plan for or address the impacts of drought.</text></clause><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="idB8A97F8EBC2A419394F297DA2D3ACCA0"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (2)(A)—</text><clause id="idD25B4AF59E934A6AB7997D0DF9E56492"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by striking <quote>; and</quote> and inserting <quote>; or</quote>;</text></clause><clause id="id4BC4BC3090FF403EAFAFF2C8E038153C"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by striking <quote>(A) be located within the States</quote> and inserting the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id8D350B7EF1854B618BA2EBD04BB876BA" style="OLC"><subparagraph id="idAA82088324F841D6AB173C68EB9028BF"><enum>(A)</enum><text>be located in—</text><clause id="id177659EA97C34257817AD6D07B9E4E85"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the States</text></clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></clause><clause id="id592DD12C3782460E94943FDF650BB072"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idFA861DFDD83D4C84AFC76EAA1686A384" style="OLC"><clause id="idCF421638F76447FCA578B650261FD6EC"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>the State of Hawaii; and</text></clause><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></clause></subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="id0A4FA8745C344FA58BE5CCF473C2EAED"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (e), by striking <quote>There is</quote> and all that follows through <quote>$200,000,000</quote> and inserting <quote>There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section for
			 each of fiscal years 2015 through 2023</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection></section><section id="idE9F58169F6C046AD9B639006F70C1E83"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations for national water availability and use assessment program</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 9508(e)(2) of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/10368">42 U.S.C. 10368(e)(2)</external-xref>) is
			 amended by striking <quote>$12,500,000 for the period of fiscal years 2009 through 2013</quote> and inserting <quote>such sums as are necessary for the period of fiscal years 2014 through 2023</quote>.</text>
