		Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq</header><subsection id="idBDA32A6B46554E009C968F76456B1FE6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Repeal</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Authorization for Use of Military Force
		Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/243">Public Law 107–243</external-xref>; 116 Stat. 1498; 50 U.S.C.
		1541 note) is hereby repealed.</text></subsection><subsection id="idE25F13B111C94793A9042AEB14D93D62"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text>Nothing in this section  shall be construed as limiting or prohibiting any  authority of the President to—</text><paragraph id="id42BDB97032FA46E5A85BDC0C13570788"><enum>(1)</enum><text>provide security for United States facilities, military assets, or  military or diplomatic personnel located in Iraq; or</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id376A060598BA4E05BF66633470005F8A"><enum>(2)</enum><text>gather, provide, and share intelligence with the Government of Iraq if  the President determines it  to be in the national security interests of the United  States.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
