			 fourteen</enrolled-dateline><legis-num display="yes">S. 1044</legis-num><current-chamber display="no">IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES</current-chamber><legis-type display="yes">AN ACT</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To direct the Secretary of the Interior to install in the area of the World War II Memorial in the
			 District of Columbia a suitable plaque or an inscription with the words
			 that President Franklin D. Roosevelt prayed with the United States on
			 D-Day, June 6, 1944. </official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="H5A4885AD6BB94210BF5A672015C09471" style="OLC"><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7C7C0B0112A94582BDB2CB5798942F95" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>World War II Memorial Prayer Act of
			 2013</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2F764D5FDF8C4616A476BA3FADBAD86C" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Placement of
			 plaque or inscription at world war II memorial</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary of the Interior—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0479E5E2008E45AC8BD02973F7F866BD"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall install in
			 the area of the World War II Memorial in the District of Columbia a
			 suitable
			 plaque or an inscription with the words that President Franklin D.
			 Roosevelt
			 prayed with the United States on June 6, 1944, the morning of D-Day;</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3B9D78CE3F14423591F96F51B0B27797"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall design,
			 procure, prepare, and install the plaque or inscription referred to in
			 paragraph (1); and</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7549E49912B54B0BB593FFCB5B1C8B6D"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">may not use Federal funds to prepare or
			 install the plaque or inscription referred to in paragraph (1), but may
			 accept
			 and expend private contributions for this purpose.</text></paragraph></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H40896D6981074313B6A8CC7602E3E3F6" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>3.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Commemorative Works
			 Act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Chapter
			 89 of title 40, United States Code (commonly known as the
			 <quote>Commemorative Works Act</quote>), shall apply to the design and
			 placement of the plaque within the area of the World War II Memorial.</text></section></legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Speaker of the House of Representatives</role></attestation-group><attestation-group><attestor display="no"></attestor><role>Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate</role></attestation-group></attestation></bill>
