<section id="H23B071FAD09342D7A6C40E349600F515" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Funeral Honors for World War II Veterans Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section> 
<section id="HCC714A9ED91B49E5A113834882235692"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authority for inclusion of seven person firing parties in funeral honors details provided by Secretary of Defense for World War II veterans</header> 
<subsection id="H8B16CBBA33C64278B46071A74D0DB243"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/10/1491">Section 1491(c)</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: <quote>In the case of a veteran who served on active duty in the armed forces during World War II, the funeral honors detail may include a seven person firing party.</quote>. </text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="HC1391F0C6AA04270B93012E6CE1FBD75"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to deaths occurring after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section>
