		<section id="id91E1AD1D3D674E27BA66AB4A469A8391" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Veterans Dependents' Parity Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H73273F2E8D4B4063B07F8A5536FD4176" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Increase of maximum age for children eligible for medical care under CHAMPVA program</header>
			<subsection id="H80404E6331184FAFAD74B54F21CC3C87"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Increase</header><text>Subsection (c) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/1781">section 1781</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block id="HD62E02A509664CE5BA09F002865B97B3" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="HE8CCBC433CD647BAB10B8C2843638B01"><enum>(c)</enum>
						<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H1B6E6EB9B0474121BC1338C0E7E91606"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding clauses (i) and (iii) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/101">section 101(4)(A)</external-xref> of this title, for purposes of this
			 section, a child who is eligible for benefits under subsection (a) shall
			 be eligible for benefits under this section until the child’s 26th
			 birthday, regardless of the marital status of the child or whether the
			 child is pursuing a full-time course of instruction at an educational
			 institution.</text>
						</paragraph><paragraph id="HE05102578728469CBA0FEBF7A10C47C4" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>This subsection shall not be construed to limit eligibility for coverage of a child described in
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/101">section 101(4)(A)(ii)</external-xref> of this title.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HB8CD50349655438085D6170A89BADA07"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>Such subsection, as so amended, shall apply with respect to medical care provided on or after the
			 date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
