			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Stockman Effect Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="id793E3D86EE0D4285887464ADEC15281C" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Magnetic field study</header><subsection id="idAB3698C55E3F49F3A7066F68C2845138"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Findings</header><text>Congress finds as follows:</text><paragraph id="id590041AB880F4694ADD56F0CD6966075"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Prior to a magnetic polar shift, there is a decline in the Earth’s magnetic fields.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id233E3D608CB24D8888A792D4190E18CA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Decrease in magnetic fields could impact global temperatures.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id5E2E9F020EEB477DAB26D422AEA19D3D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>There is a possibility that the reason Mars lost its atmosphere was because of the loss of its
			 magnetic field.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id2AE8155C22234D79AE7A8524F4F06445"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Magnetic field study</header><text>The director of the National Science Foundation shall commission a study on the impact that a shift
			 in the Earth’s magnetic field could have on the weather.</text></subsection></section></legis-body>
