		<official-title>To amend title 44, United States Code, to require the Public Printer to adjust the fonts used in
			 documents printed by the Government Printing Office if adjusting the fonts
			 will reduce printing costs, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H3B292EB190FC413DA7FE28D9E790F408" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Printing Responsibly in New Typesets Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote>PRINT Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HCDB5EC8A2E374FC08B53679542846F1E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requiring Public Printer to adjust fonts used in documents printed by Government Printing Office to
			 achieve savings</header>
			<subsection id="HC4E83762CC4E4E51832F689C7D85677E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Adjusting Fonts</header>
				<paragraph id="H89BDE6ED653249EEB33F0854FDECE515"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/44/5">Chapter 5</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H047BB23F8A634CB183F154C8D5738569" style="USC">
						<section id="H5CD5674AFB2B4E548C4F0F843F7EA6B1"><enum>518.</enum><header>Adjustment of fonts</header>
							<subsection id="HCCC524219ECF42A4BECF255366F0828A"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Documents Printed by Government Printing Office</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Public Printer shall adjust the font used to print the text of any type of document printed by
			 the Government Printing Office if the Public Printer determines that
			 adjusting the font will reduce printing costs and be cost-effective and
			 appropriate with respect to that type of document.</text>
							</subsection><subsection id="H764E7EC8CB394FEDA6117C380F6B5162"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Documents Printed by Others</header><text>The Public Printer shall enter into such agreements as may be required to ensure that any person
			 other than the Government Printing Office who prints documents for the
			 Federal Government under the authority of this title or pursuant to
			 agreements authorized by this title follows the requirements of subsection
			 (a) with respect to those documents in the same manner as the Public
			 Printer follows such requirements with respect to documents printed by the
			 Government Printing Office.</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HFAB6A829A9104C52AD0CBA2ACFDACCE9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of sections of chapter 5 of such title is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 item:</text>

				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HE55F3CAD163844279D780DD7336F5B9C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming Amendments</header>
				<paragraph id="H31E08AD7583C4B779CDA90F888C91986"><enum>(1)</enum><header>United States Code</header>
					<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="HA854E9DBC4D640ABBAFFAB4A5B4709FA"><enum>(A)</enum><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/1/205">Section 205</external-xref> of title 1, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>and shall be in such form and style</quote> and inserting <quote>and (subject to <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/518">section 518</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code) shall be in such form and style</quote>.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H05A604334F2740CCA3E9066820F1643D" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/1/206">Section 206</external-xref> of title 1, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>shall be printed in such form and style</quote> and inserting <quote>shall (subject to <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/518">section 518</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code) be printed in such form and style</quote>.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HE9759B1D7CC64ECE809049ABE9C2CA6B"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Congressional printing</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/707">Section 707</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>Subject to sections</quote> and inserting <quote>Subject to section 518 of this title and sections</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H9ECCB4EA266F430E9A2E412568FAC5E8"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Congressional Record</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/901">Section 901</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>The Joint Committee</quote> and inserting <quote>Subject to section 518 of this title, the Joint Committee</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HDF409CBD5CAE425BBEDE1297D9FD76B9"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Executive and judiciary printing</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/1105">Section 1105</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>The Public Printer</quote> and inserting <quote>Subject to section 518 of this title, the Public Printer</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H3315A2376FAC47D5A039F4E4CEB876B2"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text>The amendments made by this Act shall apply with respect to documents printed after the expiration
			 of the 1-year period which begins on the date of the enactment of this
			 Act.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="HC51122F76F8E4FDCBC590E9AAFB0F533"><enum>3.</enum><header>Prohibiting delivery of printed copies of Congressional Record to offices of Members of Congress</header>
			<subsection id="HB6DCEEF0D898467F8869878F00CF1D63"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibiting Delivery</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/44/906">Section 906</external-xref> of title 44, United States Code, is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="HF1674910398F4D5686C6D47808A18807"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>The Public Printer</quote> and inserting <quote>(a) <header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">In General</header-in-text>.—Subject to subsection (c), the Public Printer</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HC3DA8D8BA799426A95D645F25F15E857"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>Copies of the daily edition</quote> and inserting <quote>(b) <header-in-text level="subsection" style="OLC">Timing of Delivery</header-in-text>.—Copies of the daily edition</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H7532E3ADBC7B43A6B59B71E523D14742"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6209422AE49B41CD8791087E5FAA7235" style="OLC">
						<subsection id="H6AC76B5456424E76B755C1B7074315CB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Prohibiting Delivery to Offices of Members of Congress</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Public Printer may not deliver a printed copy of any version of the Congressional Record to the
			 office of a Senator or the office of a Member of the House of
			 Representatives (including a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to the
			 Congress).</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H13E0390DA7934B94804FF181DDB46F0D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by subsection (a) shall take effect 30 days after the date of enactment of this
			 Act.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H5B48998CE5D748618D52650F8CF62945"><enum>4.</enum><header>Redesignation of Government Printing Office as Government Publishing Office</header>
			<subsection id="HB4520A8CE691478C8930CD1EE8927E3C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Redesignation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Government Printing Office is hereby redesignated as the Government Publishing Office.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H8C7551A2B83644259E153B7EC0BC4B9A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>References</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any reference to the Government Printing Office in any law, rule, regulation, certificate,
			 directive, instruction, or other official paper in force on the date of
			 enactment of this Act shall be considered to refer and apply to the
			 Government Publishing Office.</text>
