		<section id="H7B62D4A40D494BA68194796444001946" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Cow Creek Umpqua Land Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H055135B56C544C6EA5A9D2FC149AC701" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
			<paragraph id="H9AAF39118FB44CF79ADF0217E74F4211"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Council creek land</header><text>The term <quote>Council Creek land</quote> means the approximately 17,519 acres of land, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Canyon Mountain Land Conveyance</quote> and dated June 27, 2013.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HDFA60758F35A47BCAA7A22FF39D823B9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Tribe</header><text>The term <quote>Tribe</quote> means the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H8D3BC1A99A474CCCADB5955EA1CB7D85"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section id="HC079A2E2EFC74EBDA9325DB1FF5182CD"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance</header>
			<subsection id="HED3B655345BA49D68B02EECC649A486F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, including rights-of-way, all right, title, and interest of the
			 United States in and to the Council Creek land, including any improvements
			 located on the land, appurtenances to the land, and minerals on or in the
			 land, including oil and gas, shall be—</text>
				<paragraph id="HCBBF51751BA8485FBC83E94CC7F5BCE1"><enum>(1)</enum><text>held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H2EF63A28F6A843E88DE4365B3626AF61"><enum>(2)</enum><text>part of the reservation of the Tribe.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H901D06D0FCB24484BB1E5260C368D2DE"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Survey</header><text>Not later than one year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall complete a
			 survey of the boundary lines to establish the boundaries of the land taken
			 into trust under subsection (a).</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H63378C85B4574C709F6CB770F37FC822"><enum>4.</enum><header>Map and legal description</header>
			<subsection id="H1552E085117646E2AD8E629022E0F25A"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall file a map and
			 legal description of the Council Creek land with—</text>
				<paragraph id="H323678FB97014D9C9711EDCF079E2717"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD2ADE5AA72D843BD9868CBCD67BC9D4D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H1F6D933B0F024F58BC7C6ABB3556E2D6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Force and effect</header><text>The map and legal description filed under subsection (a) shall have the same force and effect as if
			 included in this Act, except that the Secretary may correct any clerical
			 or typographical errors in the map or legal description.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H9EF7C03ED0854153BB36EA8A3B6BD87C"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Public availability</header><text>The map and legal description filed under subsection (a) shall be on file and available for public
			 inspection in the Office of the Secretary.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H84F6E83924434699A6279A326DF08B21"><enum>5.</enum><header>Administration</header>
			<subsection id="H178EBEC3700B4A59AF50A88155BED3AC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Unless expressly provided in this Act, nothing in this Act affects any right or claim of the Tribe
			 existing on the date of enactment of this Act to any land or interest in
			 land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H891D878B90C8495F96A26E9851E176A1"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Prohibitions</header>
				<paragraph id="HE7D3FDF2B3334AA183BE5F0602488D12"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Exports of unprocessed logs</header><text>Federal law (including regulations) relating to the export of unprocessed logs harvested from
			 Federal land shall apply to any unprocessed logs that are harvested from
			 the Council Creek land.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H73259303CAC6479F83EFD5C9F051186F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Non-permissible use of land</header><text>Any real property taken into trust under section 3 shall not be eligible, or used, for any gaming
			 activity carried out under <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/100/497">Public Law 100–497</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/2701">25 U.S.C. 2701 et seq.</external-xref>).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HC172188EBA394961A9668E407FE5D29A"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Forest management</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any forest management activity that is carried out on the Council Creek land shall be managed in
			 accordance with all applicable Federal laws, including the National Indian
			 Forest Resources Management Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/3101">25 U.S.C. 3101 et seq.</external-xref>).</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="H14FAA80F5508413AA98ED0C6528081ED"><enum>6.</enum><header>Land reclassification</header>
			<subsection id="H029EBFBA2285478E85277F0D9CBCE92E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Identification of oregon and california railroad grant land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Agriculture and
			 the Secretary shall identify any Oregon and California Railroad grant land
			 that is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe
			 under section 3.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H8CBEE45595DD401FB5D70837225DB9EB"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Identification of public domain land</header><text>Not later than 18 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall identify
			 public domain land in the State of Oregon that—</text>
				<paragraph id="HC4FB5C06E7E841F9AB1003ABF8225645"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is approximately equal in acreage and condition as the Oregon and California Railroad grant land
			 identified under subsection (a); and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H9CABAE02FA98408B9B2BE310F044A3A1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">is located in the vicinity of the Oregon and California Railroad grant land.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H0F37FDB3EF3149EAAF066EA6F4A1A0A1"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Maps</header><text>Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to
			 Congress and publish in the Federal Register one or more maps depicting
			 the land identified in subsections (a) and (b).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H7CF1C7CF7C4C41D9984AB8D1916C4B6D"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Reclassification</header>
				<paragraph id="HF3A241FD8B6A416EB613E4D7E18204CD"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>After providing an opportunity for public comment, the Secretary shall reclassify the land
			 identified in subsection (b) as Oregon and California Railroad grant land.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD7985C36FDC24E7A8083ED70B545A788"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>The Act of August 28, 1937 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1181a">43 U.S.C. 1181a et seq.</external-xref>) shall apply to land reclassified as Oregon and
			 California Railroad grant land under paragraph (1).</text>
