		<official-title>To amend the Fair Credit Reporting Act to clarify the ability to use consumer reports in certain
			 cases to establish and enforce child support payments.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" id="HE7C402A57AF045F182A52E0DAC768A14" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Child Support Assistance Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HF73B69115A8B453D8C55937957523D56" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Use of consumer reports by State or local child support enforcement agencies</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 604(a) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1681b">15 U.S.C. 1681b(a)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="H87D369B080F1496482B3809E04082420"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (4)—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H29E6F1F00CA54C9E9AEC1F846A67423C"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A), by striking <quote>or determining the appropriate level of such payments</quote> and inserting <quote>, determining the appropriate level of such payments, or enforcing a child support order, award,
			 agreement, or judgment</quote>;</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H4227A1E7BD094431A94FC3D8F1E10543"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B), by adding <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HDEAB77B86D34473B96730405F2866209"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by striking subparagraph (C); and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H54F3B381DC444C20988CBC865DB1D9AE"><enum>(D)</enum><text>by redesignating subparagraph (D) as subparagraph (C);</text>
				</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HA14A79BC5B714C0588C275B9D9A01C42"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (5); and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H25F14EB40E854A7BB8A4DB3E8BFFADD7"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (6) as paragraph (5).</text>
