		<section id="H0A586C2C9F0440A1B3D8B2A94D743290" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Lease of certain military equipment to the Government of Ukraine</header>
			<subsection id="HE248CE96F8FB446C83BD99FBC089C095"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding any other provision of law limiting the assistance to be provided under this
			 section, the President is authorized to transfer to the Government of
			 Ukraine upon that Government’s request, as appropriate, the following
			 defense articles, services, and training:</text>
				<paragraph id="H7F7E5CBCEC46496D8BAE4A9F66ADF483"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Anti-tank weapons and ammunition.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H520C3FBB9C8E445597ABF718D70B559B"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Anti-aircraft weapons and ammunition.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H481A11B98D984A0A9EA93D4FE89165B3"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Crew weapons and ammunition.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H0544F4E01E0342AD94BB66226669688F"><enum>(4)</enum><text>Small arms and ammunition, including pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, grenade launchers,
			 machine guns, and sniper rifles.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H9D8913CC04AD4961B4CF9B573B80F1B3"><enum>(5)</enum><text>Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HB946EA9F39D745D1B7F145A672A8AFB9"><enum>(6)</enum><text>High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H136162D71E954D3188DFCA08271DEC94"><enum>(7)</enum><text>Inflatable boats.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H8F403229FA2D4ECEB3905AE3AAC3145A"><enum>(8)</enum><text>Body armor.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HC056590C0FDB401EA1EB638192497B4D"><enum>(9)</enum><text>Fire control, range finder, optical and guidance and control equipment.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H70A77E1746B748DEA3F4CDD67806EA79"><enum>(10)</enum><text>Explosive disposal and improvised explosive device detection equipment.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HC42C669DDD17416FA71FF84A2BCDD29C"><enum>(11)</enum><text>Mine detection equipment.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H700D598311F8413E9452CAF1F1E6E319"><enum>(12)</enum><text>Chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear detection, testing, and protection equipment.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H62CD3D95085448B4809E2A57A0E1A4D5"><enum>(13)</enum><text>Communications, logistic, combat support, medical equipment, rations, specialized equipment, and
			 other defense articles, services, and training requested by the Government
			 of Ukraine that the President determines to be appropriate.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HD9CCF544C12243379344E5E407D2C9B2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Form of transfer of defense articles</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The transfer of defense articles under subsection (a) shall be on a lease basis under chapter 6 of
			 the Arms Export Control Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/2796">22 U.S.C. 2796 et seq.</external-xref>).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H89679C231BA043A4AEE45EC1F8B3D8D9"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Limitation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The transfer of defense articles under subsection (a) shall be limited to defense articles that
			 have been removed from Iraq or Afghanistan and otherwise meet the
			 requirements under chapter 6 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C.
			 2796 et seq.) and other applicable provisions of law.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="HD5817CDAEF284C2EBBB5E734442BED17"><enum>2.</enum><header>Rule of construction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Nothing in this Act shall be construed as authorizing the use of military force under the
			 Authorization for Use of Military Force (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/40">Public Law 107–40</external-xref>; 50 U.S.C. 1541
			 note).</text>
