		<official-title>To prohibit certain actions with respect to deferred action for aliens not lawfully present in the
			 United States, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H9EC607EF024B44D9B8A6CA6E580AE622" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Prohibitions relating to deferred action</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Unless explicitly authorized by law, no agency or instrumentality of the Federal Government may
			 issue after July 30, 2014, guidance, memorandums, regulations, policies,
			 or other similar instruments the effect of which is—</text>
			<paragraph id="H5119037A997E43978A521498CC260469"><enum>(1)</enum><text>to modify, in any manner that would expand the number of aliens eligible for deferred action, the
			 Executive memorandum dated June 15, 2012, concerning deferred action for
			 childhood arrivals;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HA1D30FD27D664648A1159578BF1A1079"><enum>(2)</enum><text>to newly authorize deferred action for any class of aliens not in lawful immigration status in the
			 United States; or</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HF57FCE3C4FF746549E683AF08BA106FD"><enum>(3)</enum><text>to newly authorize any alien to work in the United States if such alien—</text>
				<subparagraph id="H053CC27C0BF3443A8BBDE336E46F96C9"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">was not lawfully admitted into the United States in compliance with the immigration laws (as
			 defined in section 101(a)(17) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8
			 U.S.C. 1101(a)(17))), except that this subparagraph shall not apply to an
			 alien who is paroled under section 212(d)(5) of the Immigration and
			 Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1182">8 U.S.C. 1182(d)(5)</external-xref>) or permitted to land temporarily as
			 an alien crewman; and</text>
				</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H1CFDB570817F42F7B350E46826026E83"><enum>(B)</enum><text>is not lawfully present in the United States.</text>
