		<section id="H50407B5D2B4A4AA68BE77029BE40443A" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Crimea Annexation Non-recognition Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H55D73624FFBC484F96AFBF7665BC0CF6"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibition against United States recognition of Russia’s annexation of Crimea</header>
			<subsection id="H1AA5CA1D18874897AE1C7BB35EF10082"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Statement of policy</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The United States Government may not recognize the de jure or de facto sovereignty of the Russian
			 Federation over Crimea, its airspace, or its territorial waters.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H4BD6F69238074F12B681EE6E3DEF4F65"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In accordance with subsection (a), no Federal department or agency may take any action or extend
			 any assistance that recognizes or implies recognition of the de jure or de
			 facto sovereignty of the Russian Federation over Crimea, its airspace, or
			 its territorial waters.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H36DA0A3A2E164171B84FA884587E64AB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Waiver</header><text>The President may waive subsection (a) or (b) if the President determines that it is vital to the
			 national security interests of the United States to do so.</text>
