		<section id="HF0779CEDBCCD42248252D24106178904" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Amendments to justification and approval requirements related to certain sole-source contracts</header>
			<subsection id="H6069FD57CA674ABE8E7D91F44DAA0624"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Expansion of sole-Source contracts covered</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Paragraph (1) of section 811(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/84">Public Law 111–84</external-xref>; 123 Stat. 2405; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/3304">41 U.S.C. 3304</external-xref> note) is amended to
			 read as follows:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2C8273EE6FD5420FAD2F4F968609E44A" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="HA3386E698FE140029B26DF3AB398C275"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Covered procurement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <quote>covered procurement</quote> means either of the following:</text>
						<subparagraph id="HE7CF4B6D787845108F2BAE7633B9FDDC"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A procurement covered by <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/10/137">chapter 137</external-xref> of title 10, United States Code.</text>
						</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H42C01BB2979F42F990557DB51160AB3D"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A procurement covered by division C of subtitle I of title 41, United States Code.</text>
						</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H0CDBDB189B494D788F60DFB04469BC49"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Treatment of other justification and approval actions</header><text>Section 811 of such Act is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H61B3B178FAC4412F9573DA159DD58178" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H1921430F49A940EBB5B7F8AFE1FF28B7"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Treatment of other justification and approval actions</header><text>In the case of any contract for which a justification and approval is required under section
			 2304(f) of title 10, United States Code, or <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/3304">section 3304(e)</external-xref> of title 41,
			 United States Code, a justification and approval meeting the requirements
			 of such section shall be treated as meeting the requirements of this
			 section for purposes of the award of a sole-source contract.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H2CAC969E02DB4017A82EBDC06ADCA7FB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Technical and conforming amendments</header><text>Section 811 of such Act is further amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H21A283925F2744BA987DB6E0412FBA3D"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by striking <quote>Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Federal Acquisition
			 Regulation shall be revised to provide that the</quote> and inserting <quote>The</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H3A571FE00B5B420390434B9838A90CB1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (a)(3), by striking <quote>sections 303(f)(1)(C) and 303(j) of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/253">41 U.S.C. 253(f)(1)(C)</external-xref> and 253(j))</quote> and inserting <quote>sections 3304(e)(1)(C) and 3304(f) of title 41, United States Code</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H4B2B1ADA5D3A4E34AE76CAB04EE8853D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (c)—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H91C890F1B0DD4F92AB4BF3B5135DC2C5"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (2)(B), by striking <quote>section 309(a)</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>section 151 of title 41, United States Code.</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HAF6283C8C8BE4AE894D118E6D274DC97"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (3)(B), by striking <quote>section 303(f)(1)(B)</quote> and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting <quote>section 3304(e)(1)(B) of title 41, United States Code.</quote>; and</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HEE6B09EEAE144C928C0085EB0AAA3E02"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subsection:</text>
					<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6DCD518A6B674F6E87C256DD58AA6453" style="OLC">
						<subsection id="H41F87850338649EC96812FB1F2824E2A"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Regulations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Federal Acquisition Regulation shall be revised to implement this section.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
