		<section id="HC748ED6E3463472A81A8E18C2D5734E3" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Revision to the administration of death 
   gratuities for Foreign Service and other 
   executive agency employees</header>
			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 413 of the Foreign Service Act of 1980 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/22/3973">22 U.S.C. 3973</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph id="idF4409AA3BAC44BD5BA5BBAF5486B3E18"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a) by inserting <quote>designated beneficiaries or</quote> before <quote>surviving dependents</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id7706DAC2528E469384DAB020381B5684"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (b) by inserting <quote>designated beneficiaries or</quote> before <quote>survivors</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id96F8073984E6468AA2904C189413CFD9"><enum>(3)</enum><text>in subsection (c) by striking <quote>survivors and beneficiaries</quote> and inserting <quote>designated beneficiaries then survivors</quote>;</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id8C62379A22F14A9BBA3D221DB2492337"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by striking subsection (d); and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idA8D202956AFA49BDAAF6439B85294CFD"><enum>(5)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (e) as subsection (d).</text></paragraph></section></legis-body>
