		<official-title>To amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to require States which require individuals to present a
			 photo identification as a condition of voting in elections for Federal
			 office to accept a photo identification presented by a student which is
			 issued by the school the student attends.</official-title>

		<section id="H649498C9B7A544F3886606B737599552" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Equal Access to Support Youth Voting Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote>EASY Voting Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H7A47766E0A0A45C98FA6E7F696736E7E"><enum>2.</enum><header>Requiring states to accept student identifications for purposes of meeting voter identification
			 requirements</header>
			<subsection id="HEC69BF89AB38446DAF8F0C77A2236986"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Acceptance of student identifications</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Title III of the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/15481">42 U.S.C. 15481 et seq.</external-xref>) is amended by inserting
			 after section 303 the following new section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9241FC4ED7EF419EB48EB4192B467028" style="OLC">
					<section id="H6AB762EC085B4380A39789DA8931DFEC"><enum>303A.</enum><header>Requiring acceptance of student photo identification as current and valid photo identification</header>
						<subsection id="H1BA6BEF6396C4E45B4C27E2B53B8D053"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Acceptance of student identifications</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A State or local election official shall accept a current and valid student photo identification
			 issued by an institution of higher education to a student attending such
			 institution of higher education as a current and valid photo
			 identification for purposes of section 303(b)(2) or of any State or local
			 law which requires an individual to produce a current and valid photo
			 identification to obtain a ballot or vote in an election for Federal
			 office.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H2231E495E3064B06A45F65B7A8A12B56"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Definition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this section, the term <term>institution of higher education</term> has the meaning given such term in section 101 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C.
			 1001), except that such term includes a proprietary institution of higher
			 education described in section 102(b) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/20/1002">20 U.S.C. 1002(b)</external-xref>).</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H9E2C8507CF984CB4823EB464885121D0"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Enforcement</header><text>Section 401 of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/15511">42 U.S.C. 15511</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>and 303</quote> and inserting <quote>303, and 303A</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H502B141AF5434912A9DF083D7E8B03CD"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Clerical amendment</header><text>The table of contents of such Act is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 303
			 the following new item:</text>

			</subsection><subsection id="H3DB761D8090744A3890EF7EB54255F16"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to elections occurring on or after the
			 date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
