		<section id="H47D9079AC3874372BC451E175A640692" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>USPTO Law School Clinic Certification Program</header>
			<subsection id="H946272AC8BFE438587943BDF95B68B72"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Establishment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Law School Clinic Certification Program of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as
			 implemented by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, is
			 established as a program entitled the <quote>Law School Clinic Certification Program</quote>. The Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States
			 Patent and Trademark Office (in this section referred to as the <quote>Director</quote>) may establish regulations and procedures for application to and participation in the program,
			 which shall be available to accredited law schools. The Law School Clinic
			 Certification Program shall be in effect for the 10-year period beginning
			 on the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HEDF069EA8FF24346916C72E71A62EE14"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Report on the program</header><text>The Director shall, not later than the last day of the 2-year period beginning on the date of the
			 enactment of this Act, submit to the Committees on the Judiciary of the
			 House of Representatives and the Senate a report on the Law School Clinic
			 Certification Program, describing the number of law schools and law
			 students participating in the program, the work done through the program,
			 the benefits of the program, and any recommendations of the Director for
			 modifications to the program.</text>
