		<official-title>To amend the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 to specify that privilege is maintained when
			 information is shared by certain nondepository covered persons with
			 Federal and State financial regulators, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HEA53C79FD0934609AB6F43A95871C2C8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Examination and Supervisory Privilege Parity Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HC341F20A51F84FF483A60C97985F18A4"><enum>2.</enum><header>Privilege of information shared by certain nondepository covered persons</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1024(b)(3) of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/5514">12 U.S.C. 5514(b)(3)</external-xref>) is
			 amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HDC3FFC8D179E43C8B5CA6A5165B7B8BA"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>regulators and the State bank regulatory authorities</quote> and inserting <quote>regulators, the State bank regulatory authorities, and the State agencies that licence, supervise,
			 or examine the offering of consumer financial products or services</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H5A202356F9FF4D31A85B58B3582637D7"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: <quote>The sharing of information with such regulators, authorities, and agencies shall not be construed
			 as waiving, destroying, or otherwise affecting any privilege such person
			 may claim with respect to such information under Federal or State law as
			 to any person or entity other than such Bureau, agency, supervisor, or
			 authority.</quote>.</text>
