		<official-title>To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to meet with certain advisory committees to receive
			 administrative and policy recommendations to improve the health care
			 system of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H73C78187B337473BA6FE67ACD533CADC" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Our Vets Deserve Better Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H3A395643289D4896B83EBBE772B99C24"><enum>2.</enum><header>Administrative and policy recommendations to improve the health care system of the Department of
			 Veterans Affairs</header>
			<subsection id="HEB81D8CD60744649B51A3267F1D1A344"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Meetings</header>
				<paragraph id="H2DD4729AE1A24F549133FB182BE51EA1"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Veterans
			 Affairs shall meet with the advisory committees described in paragraph (2)
			 to receive administrative and policy recommendations to improve the health
			 care system of the Department of Veterans Affairs.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H1ECC1974E67E4C2FA1756687FAA3755D"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Advisory committees described</header><text>The advisory committees described in this paragraph are the following:</text>
					<subparagraph id="H01F403BDB1BD4A05A7EFF53E2795DE4B"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Advisory Committee on Prosthetics and Special-Disabilities Programs established by section 543
			 of title 38, United States Code.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" id="H1A44412565904D699A57233DDF21C68C"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Genomic Medicine Program Advisory Committee established pursuant to the Federal Advisory
			 Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.).</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HA3BBF244DD694494ADA5FB8D921CD765"><enum>(C)</enum><text>The Geriatrics and Gerontology Advisory Committee established under <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/7315">section 7315</external-xref> of title 38,
			 United States Code.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" id="H7587074AA3F3446DB00BDD54F21C41D5"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Health Services Research and Development Service Scientific Merit Review Board established
			 pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.).</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H78FAD2D6EF65475DB2E5FD6DD2D0FD91"><enum>(E)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Research Advisory Committee on Gulf War Veterans' Illnesses established by section 707 of the
			 Veterans Health Care Act of 1992 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/102/585">Public Law 102–585</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/527">38 U.S.C. 527</external-xref> note).</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE31F1C3BDAE24966B501F1A451D3D202"><enum>(F)</enum><text>The Special Medical Advisory Group established under <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/7312">section 7312</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HCFADC91F5AE64667B2AB7F150E77FB8B"><enum>(G)</enum><text>The Veterans' Advisory Committee on Rehabilitation established under <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/3121">section 3121</external-xref> of title 38,
			 United States Code.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" id="HCD4D555338914D75BAE5C62019E118E7"><enum>(H)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Veterans' Rural Health Advisory Committee established pursuant to the Federal Advisory
			 Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.).</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HE2B4700F628943AA9E3EB7C27019FCC6"><enum>(I)</enum><text>Any other advisory committee the Secretary determines appropriate.</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H90513EA573E345EF8C2953F3AC727245"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Report</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 30 days after carrying out subsection (a)(1), the Secretary shall—</text>
				<paragraph id="H2B063E2788DF44E191581C7B2282EC8A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>submit to the Committees on Veterans’ Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Senate a
			 report on the administrative and policy recommendations received under
			 subsection (a)(1), including any administrative or legislative actions
			 required to carry out such recommendations; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H402874F1AFE24E0989FD8F38368EBEC1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>publish such report on the public Internet website of the Department.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
