		<official-title>To amend title 40, United States Code, to require that the Administrator of General Services verify
			 that a building to be leased to accommodate a Federal agency is located a
			 certain distance from public transportation before entering into the lease
			 agreement.</official-title>

		<section id="H45491D67B64F4E2EBB16485720D2F673" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Government Services Accessibility Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HECD4DBD3AF904039AF43FCDE0F77C788" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Lease agreements</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/585">Section 585(a)</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block id="H8A3BE42E03374A5ABAAAB5FB7FCB11A0" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H09B73E2DBE5A45729C0F71F5CDC23EF1"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Distance to public transportation</header>
					<subparagraph id="H7B02EF93DBED4C69BA90D9EFC96A47E4"><enum>(A)</enum><header>Definition of public transportation</header><text>In this paragraph, the term <quote>public transportation</quote> has the meaning given the term in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/49/5302">section 5302</external-xref> of title 49.</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="H63AABF2FB28745318267E4491424EEAE"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Determination</header><text>The Administrator of General Services shall not enter into a lease agreement under paragraph (1)
			 unless the Administrator determines that—</text>
						<clause id="H8A425C9C6A354E9A9B77C285DE3E02BC"><enum>(i)</enum><text>the building (or improvement) to be leased would satisfy any requirement concerning access to
			 public transportation listed in a proposed short form lease or
			 solicitation for offers provided to each prospective offeror in accordance
			 with section 570.203–3 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (or successor
			 regulations); and</text>
						</clause><clause id="HBCC2E4A566F445F494DCFE3E0B460EA4"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>if the short form lease or solicitation for offers contains a requirement concerning access to
			 public transportation, the building (or improvement) is located not
			 greater than a certain distance from public transportation that operates
			 regularly throughout the normal business hours of the building (or
			 improvement).</text></clause></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
