		<section id="HCBBDA488E8E843FEAD35BE9FD536E4D0" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Coast Guard Regulation Relief Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HD32C2AF030934A2C85F1B26D6073D43D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Notices of claim of maritime lien</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/46/31343">Section 31343</external-xref> of title 46, United States Code, is amended by striking subsection (e) and inserting
			 the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7B11484AA4B548BEAD11D1443655C2C6" style="USC">
				<subsection id="H5032AC62790443A092F8568C53555922"><enum>(e)</enum>
					<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H61DB37F1DD3646EE82AB377B7D3DF9D4"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">A notice of claim of lien recorded under subsection (b) shall expire 3 years after the date on
			 which such notice is recorded.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="HBBCE453E194A488BAC2554871F3C3903" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>A person may re-record a notice that has expired under paragraph (1) or (3) if the person submits
			 to the Secretary a declaration stating that the information in the notice
			 remains true and correct to the best of the knowledge, information, and
			 belief of the person.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H144B67AB3D6E4800A747AD260264B800" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text>A notice re-recorded under paragraph (2) shall expire 3 years after the date on which such notice
			 was last re-recorded.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="HC6AE016A329B4F9AB47B42062B97E67D" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum><text>Expiration of a notice under this subsection may not be construed to have any effect on the
			 validity of a claim of lien.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
