			 Gulf of Mexico jurisdiction over fisheries out to 9 nautical miles from

		<section id="H0553AE1B542741E78317ED38FEE2CD91" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>State Fisheries Act of 2014</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H44084D6DF6C24C93B9E7F8E63A287FB9"><enum>2.</enum><header>State jurisdiction over fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 306(b) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1856">16 U.S.C. 1856(b)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H281C6FC1DEC04BF7BFA82B67A168B370" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H3C07BADED94141DEAEF79B2A94B6AEC8" indent="up1"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding section 3(11) and subsection (a) of this section, for purposes of managing
			 fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico, the seaward boundary of a coastal State
			 in the Gulf of Mexico is a line 9 nautical miles seaward from the baseline
			 from which the territorial sea of the United States is measured.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
