		<section id="H1759ACF6D79542A7A4744EE559E5A34F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
			<text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Prohibiting False <quote>Made in America</quote> Claims Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="id6152EA6597C749CFA1ED9218F3CA1C2C" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Debarment required of persons convicted of 
     fraudulent use of <quote>Made in America</quote> labels</header><subsection id="id553DDC8D332C463E8695B8E62A1B739F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Debarment required</header><text>Subsection (a) of section 2410f of title
10, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>the Secretary shall</quote> and all that follows through the period and inserting <quote>the person shall be debarred from contracting with the Department of Defense unless the Secretary
			 waives the debarment under subsection (b).</quote>.</text></subsection><subsection id="id0D4E44D9E3324D5E8E3775A9D4AD0949"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Waiver authority and notification 
requirement</header><text>Section 2410f of such title is further amended—</text><paragraph id="idB87B8640127448F7AD05F54A52810F0B"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (b) as subsection (d); and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id1AEE69D88E7E4082B8DD0AC3794E7A64"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (a) the following new subsections:</text><quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idB4F20B5942D340E2821D3DEEAB530993" style="OLC"><subsection id="idF8DC7C7E485C45BC82FD8881E37C6C37"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Waiver for national security</header><text>The Secretary may waive a debarment required by subsection (a) if the Secretary determines that the
			 exercise of such a waiver would be in the national security interests of
			 the United States.</text></subsection><subsection id="id9BD2CE0233934E12B080869E9A38B3AC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Notification</header><text>The Secretary shall notify the congressional defense committees annually, not later than March 1 of
			 each year, of any exercise of the waiver authority under subsection (b).</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="id687491D6D59546C49B5B8F86BFAA951D"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Technical amendments</header><text>Section 2410f of such title is further amended—</text><paragraph id="id9116D5DA10BF45A2A318D751675CC4B1"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection (a), by inserting <quote><header-in-text level="subsection">Debarment required.—</header-in-text></quote> after <quote>(a)</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idA0BF228AB5834A15B9057E3037D2B9AA"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subsection (d), as redesignated by subsection (b), by inserting <quote><header-in-text level="subsection">Definition.—</header-in-text></quote> before <quote>In this section</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
